I did a lot of research before deciding on Taishan as the Kung Fu school for our family. \u00a0We couldn’t be happier. \u00a0The instructors are of the highest caliber, our fellow students are encouraging and friendly and the training is fantastic. \u00a0 –Dr. Yeung<\/p>\n

Sifu Janet is very wise and a great teacher. \u00a0She is tough and expects us to respect her but she also shows that she really cares. \u00a0I’ve gotten a lot of skills and good exercise from taking the Wushu classes. \u00a0— Alexandra, 13 years old.<\/p>\n

I noticed a big improvement in my son’s behavior after starting Kung Fu classes. \u00a0He learnt how to follow rules and has a more positive attitude. \u00a0The teachers are all great and organized in the way that they teach. \u00a0— Mrs. Lam.<\/p>\n

I tried many types of martial arts before, including Karate and Tae Kwan Do but I still find Chinese Kung Fu to be the most appealing. \u00a0 I brought my son to Taishan 2 years ago and I’m very happy with his progress. \u00a0I can’t wait until my other children are old enough to join as well. \u00a0— Mrs. Huang.<\/p>\n

Master Xu did a thorough assessment of my office space. \u00a0He identified dangerous areas and blind spots for me to be careful of and safe areas to go in case of emergency. \u00a0He also trained me in self-defence and how to use features and objects in different rooms to protect myself. \u00a0I was very impressed with how thorough and practical this training was. \u00a0Now I feel more prepared to deal with dangerous situations. \u00a0— Dr. Chang.<\/p>\n

I like that Xu Sifu looks at each student’s potential and strength and tries to build on that. He focuses on how hard you try not how good you are at a skill. \u00a0He is very encouraging and supportive. \u00a0Yang Sifu pays attention to details and makes sure that we execute our stances and forms well. \u00a0 She’s very good at explaining proper techniques. \u00a0— Mr. Chan.<\/p>\n

Yang Sifu and Xu Sifu have very complementary ways of teaching and we, as students, really benefit from being taught by both of them. \u00a0What makes me come back to this school year after year is the environment of love, respect and family values. \u00a0It’s great to have a Kung Fu “family” where we all help each other and share our love of Wushu. — Ms. Marie.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
